New Athens Youth Athletic Association is part of District 19 for Baseball and Softball. Other towns that make up District 19 include Freeburg, Smithton, Waterloo, Millstadt, Valmeyer, Columbia, and Dupo. New Athens plays all their home games at Okaw Valley Park, located on the western edge of town. Access from the St. Clair Street via Van Buren Street.
