At NAYAO, we're proud to provide a safe, positive, and fun environment for the youth of New Athens to enjoy organized sports. We believe in more than just the game — we believe in teamwork, personal growth, and community spirit.
Youth Baseball & Softball
As part of District 19, our baseball and softball programs compete with neighboring towns including Freeburg, Smithton, Waterloo, Millstadt, Valmeyer, Columbia, Mascoutah, Dupo, Red Bud, and St. Libory. From T-ball to the upper divisions, we offer kids the opportunity to learn the game, develop their skills, and make lasting memories.
Our Home Field
All New Athens home games are played at Okaw Valley Park, located at the intersection of Van Buren St. and Saint Clair St. This beautiful park serves as our hub for practices, games, and family fun throughout the season.
Community & Youth Development
NAYAO is more than just sports. We’re here to support our youth as they grow — physically, mentally, and socially — through organized athletics. Our volunteers, coaches, and families work together to build a strong foundation for future success both on and off the field.
